B2 First Vocabulary:
Would (past action)
‘Would’ can be used to talk about past habitual actions. It is formed by taking the subject + would + bare infinitive. You can also include an adverb between ‘would’ and the verb to add extra information to the sentence.
Below are examples of how 'Would (past action)' could be used in the B2 First (FCE) exam.
Speaking Part 1:
Examiner: “Did you play any sports when you were younger”Candidate: “When I was a child I would always play football after school with friends…”
Reading and Use of English Part 4:
