B2 First Vocabulary:
Environmentally friendly
“Environmentally friendly” is a B2 level adjective used to describe something that is not harmful to the environment. The topic of the environment is very common in the B2 First exam so this is a great adjective to know and use in all the different papers.
Below are examples of how 'Environmentally friendly' could be used in the B2 First (FCE) exam.
Speaking Part 4:
Examiner: “What do you think people should do more of to help the environment?”
Candidate: “Firstly, I think it is important that we all try and buy environmentally friendly products…”
Reading and Use of English Part 3:
Governments have been encouraged to do more to ensure companies are using (2)…… friendly materials when building houses.
