B2 First Vocabulary:
“Opportunity” is a B1 level noun candidates should know for their B2 First exam. It means a situation in which it is possible for you to do something, or to have a possibility of doing something. It can also be used to talk about the chance of getting a job.
Below are examples of how 'Opportunity' could be used in the B2 First (FCE) exam.
Reading and Use of English Part 1:
Even after complicating a five year degree in mathematics there were very few job (4)…… for me.
Speaking Part 1:
Examiner: “What country would you most like to visit?”
Candidate: “If I ever get the opportunity I would love to visit India…”
