Get together
‘Get together’ is a phrasal verb that means to meet one person or a group of people (pre-arranged) to do something. It is very similar in meaning to ‘meet up‘ and can come up in any part of the exam.
Below are examples of how 'Get together' could be used in the B2 First (FCE) exam.
Speaking Part 1:
Examiner: “What do you like to do on the weekends?”
Candidates: “I like to go shopping or get together with friends for a coffee or something to eat…”
