More About Reading and Use of English Part 3

Part 3 consists of a piece of text with eight gaps and is worth 11.5% of the overall score for the reading and use of English paper. Like parts 1 and 2 each gap represents a missing word. However, in part 3 you are given a stem word in capital letters. You need to form an appropriate word from this stem word to correctly fit in the gap.

The main focus of this part of the exam is vocabulary. It is also important to know grammatical which type of word is required in the sentence (noun, adjective etc.) as well as the various prefixes and suffixes that can be added to the stem word to form these different types of words.
