More About Reading and Use of English Part 2

This part of the reading and use of English exam will give you a maximum of 11.5% towards your final reading and use of English score. It consists of a piece of text with eight gaps. Each gap represents a missing word. Unlike part 1 there are no options to choose from. You must decide what word correctly fits into each gap by using your knowledge of the structure of the English language and your understanding of the text.

In some cases there may be more than one correct answer, but you must only write one answer. Spelling is very important and must be correct. The answer will always be one word. The main focus of this part of the exam is grammar, but it can also test linking words, phrasal verbs and idioms.
